Woody became a healthcare entrepreneur after retiring as a PricewaterhouseCoopers audit and consulting partner and global healthcare practice leader. He has since worked with venture and private equity investors to build enterprises that include Trumen Physicians + Associates, Centerline Healthcare Partners, Three Oaks Hospice, Inc., Odyssey HealthCare, New Century Hospice, Encompass Home Health and Hospice, and American Specialty Health. Woody’s healthcare experience spans hospice, home health, and other post-acute care services, hospitals, physician practice management, skilled nursing, medical products, and health insurance. He is an accomplished board member responsible for governance and mentoring executives related to finance, compliance, strategy, and M&A activities. He has been involved in day-to-day M&A or governance for over 30 transactions valued at more than $6 billion. Woody has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Moravian College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
